A Singapore Visit
During a recent school holiday, my family and I had a day trip to Singapore. It was a breeze at the immigration checkpoint as the traffic was not heavy along the Second Link. Sentosa Island was the first stop. Imbiah Lookout offers various attractions and spectacular view of the Singapore's city skyline and Sentosa's beaches. Had a ride on 110m Tiger Sky Tower and really a breathtaking view from up there. The Merlion at 37 metres was great too. After that off to Geylang Serai and then Masjid Sultan. Of course the Arab Street and the surrounding area. Lastly was the Merlion Park near the Esplanade.

Brasmana's View
Hotel Brasmana Putra was the place we stayed during a recent visit to Perlis. The hotel is situated at Kuala Perlis and next to a beach. Nice view can be seen from the hotel. I took some pictures at night, early in the morning and later when the day is bright from the hotel room's balcony. The Brasmana's Ocean Glow is just a walking distance from the hotel. At night in front of the hotel there are several tents selling some merchandise and souvenirs. Just like a night's market. Food courts are just across the street.
Langkawi ?
You have to board a ferry from a jetty which is nearby to go there. It can barely seen from the hotel too.

Long Journey
Last Friday my family and I embarked on a long journey from Johor to Perlis. We start at 7.30 am and on the way, we stopped at Muar to pick up my mother in-law and had breakfast. At 9.30 am we left Muar. We stopped at R&R Rawang to have lunch. Then another stop at Bukit Gantang and Gurun before arriving Perlis around 7 pm. We stayed at Brasmana Hotel in Kuala Perlis. Next day we went to a wedding reception in Arau. Actually this was the reason why we went to Perlis. At 3.30 pm we started our way back to Johor. We stopped at R&R Gunung Semanggul, Bukit Gantang, Ulu Bernam and Seremban. Finally we arrived at 2.30 am. Really exhausted but we enjoyed the trip.
I managed to take some photos during the journey. The first row are some limestones located near Ipoh Perak that can been seen from the PLUS Highway. Next are the padi fields along the highway. These are at Pulau Pinang and Kedah.

Eye on Malaysia KL
The Eye on Malaysia was a 60 metre tall portable Ferris wheel. It was located at Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My family and I managed to visit and board the wheel when it was in Kuala Lumpur before it was relocated to Malacca. Since November 2008, Malacca is the new home for the wheel.
